Gold Seized in Ukraine Graft Probe

Ukrainian police say they seized almost 50 kilogrammes of gold from apartments belonging to the country's former energy minister. Officials said a second safe contained nearly five million dollars in cash. The haul was found during a search of Eduard Stavytsky's home as part of an inquiry into corruption in Ukraine's energy sector. Stavytsky's described in Ukraine's media as a member of the inner circle of deposed president Viktor Yanukovich.
